Coach is Everything

The head coach is everything in the NBA. Have you ever watched a really competitive pick-up game and there is a player that flat out dominates the court and then his skill does not translate to organized play?

Well, there is a reason for that. Organized basketball is poetry in motion. Crisp passing, swarming defense, effective shooting, and proper technique are all essential attributes to playing on a competitive team. The Head Coach is responsible or creating that type of motion on the court. Without the coach, we would not have this game to watch.

Street ball will always be street ball and basketball that is on TV will always be lead by a head coach. Not too sure if the game would be able to survive as a business if talented individuals were not in the coaching profession.
