Top College Basketball Picks for the Week of January 14, 2013

The Louisville Cardinals are going to be favored twice this week in great games. The Cards are taking on the Connecticut Huskies and Syracuse Orange, two very tough foes. That being said, Louisville has outscored its last nine opponents by 25.4 points per game. It's tough to see how one of the favorites for March Madness bracket picks will end up winning either of these games by this many points, but it is equally difficult to think that either the Orange or the Huskies will challenge them either.
The Wichita State Shockers could be a nice favorite choice this week as well. They take on the Illinois State Redbirds in a Wednesday night Missouri Valley Conference clash. The Shockers are 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings in this series, and they have covered three of their first four games played in conference play as well.
