The BCS Debate Gets Really Old

I am not sure if I am the only one that is absolutely tired of debating about who the #2 team is in the BCS. It's a freaking joke of a system! Every year we talk about it and debate about it. I swear the hole in the ozone layer is getting bigger cause of all the hot air coming from people's mouth. I'm sick and tired of it and the only people that are happy are the ones that play in the championship game and the college presidents who think of all the money they are getting and all the class the players are not missing because we do not have a playoff system.

Since it's inception it seems there has been more years there has been debates like this than. I feel like the BCS heads hope and pray for two big conference teams to go undefeated so they can say "See, the BCS does work!!"

These types of conversations and debate are not good for college football. You can't have a cheerful-have-a-beer-debate if you are talking about who deserves to play Ohio State. People get worked up and pissed off about it. They talk about what teams have done wrong and poorly instead of looking at what a great season they had.

There's some that say "Look at the system now. Every game every weekend matters!". How does it matter so much? You can lose a game to the #1 team and still be ranked #2. There's not two total teams playing college football. The whole football universe does revolve outside of the Big 10 conference. Forget those who say we have a playoff in college football. We do not. If we did Michigan would be out of the discussion for the title game. Plain and simple.

My lean is that Florida should play Ohio State. It's completely debateable but I'm not into that. There are great arguments for Michigan and there are my reasons I do not want to see a Big 10 championship rematch.

At least we only have to wait till later today to find out the final result instead of listening to this talk for a full week. Even if Florida does make it to the big game, I still cannot stand the BCS and the endless debate it creates.
