Terrell Owens has opened his mouth again. Suprised? Probably not. The mouth of the NFL has done it again. Kinda get the feeling though he hasn't been paying too much to things that are happening around him. Or backing up his statements. Terrell touches on a few topics and believes that losing is all Donavan's fault
"If Donovan wasn't hurt our record would probably be better," Owens said Thursday night.
Has he seen the Eagles defense? Did he see the 49 points they gave up to Denver? Has he seen the play calling? Has he seen the run game?
Oh it gets better too. Michael Irvin made a comment saying that if Brett Farve were the quarterback of the Eagles they would be undefeated. Of course Terrell is going to agree
Asked for his thoughts on Irvin's comment, Owens said: "That's a good assessment, I would agree with that, just with what [Favre] brings to the table."A number of commentators will say he's a warrior, he's played with injuries. I feel like him being knowledgeable about the quarterback position, I feel like we'd probably be in a better situation."
Cmon now. McNabb has been bothered by injuries all season. He's been hampered by a sports hernia since Week 1, and also has a bruised chest and shin. McNabb missed his second straight practice Thursday with a rib injury and was downgraded to questionable. Have we heard McNabb complain about his injury? Not one bit. Heard Terrell complain about something? All the time!!
Then in the biggest crybaby moment of the interview he complains that he didn't get any attention for getting his 100th TD catch.
"That right there just shows you the type of class and integrity that they claim not to be," said Owens, who became the sixth receiver in NFL history to reach the milestone. "They claim to be first class and the best organization. It's an embarrassment. It just shows a lack of class they have. My publicist talked to the head PR guy, and they made an excuse they didn't recognize that was coming up. But that was a blatant lie. Had it been somebody else, they probably would have popped fireworks around the stadium."
I doubt the Eagles wanted to celebrate and bring attention to someone who only tries to rip apart the team. If they did do a celebration I'm sure he would have said it wasn't big enough. What does he want? A free trip to Disney World to go along with it?
He finally says that he doesn't believe he'll be in Philadelphia anymore. Not that he doesn't want to be but cause he thinks they don't want him.
Yeah they don't want you as much as Florida doesn't want anymore huricanes.
