NFL Rankings get Shaken after Week 12

The NFL rankings continue changing, but a triad of teams seem to have total control of the top spots. New England, Arizona and Green Bay not only dominate the NFL betting odds, they also have the best chance to lock their divisions and clinch their tickets to the post season.

The continued dominance at Lambeau Field puts the Green Bay Packers among the top three teams in the NFL power rankings. With the 20-53 blowout over the Philadelphia Eagles on Week 11, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers look like the team to beat in the NFC. However, with the Arizona Cradinals winning six games in a row, the race for the top spots in the nation get even hotter. Even without Carson Palmer, they continue to win, beating a very good Lions team to move to 9-1, the league’s best record.

Meanwhile, the NFL rankings are lead by the New England Patriots, who last Sunday night beated Andy Luck and the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Patriots, who have also won six straight since their loss to Kansas City, simply battered the Colts to remain atop of the rankings.

After the unexpected loss on Week 11 in St. Louis and Kansas City's victory over Seattle, the Broncos and Chiefs are tied at 7-3. The Broncos, who were No. 1 just three weeks ago, still amongst the top five teams in the rankings. Denver, which has now lost two of three, dropped one spot to No. 4. Kansas City, winners of five straight, jumped five spots to No. 5.
