Michigan coaches on the field

Wait a minute. There were Michigan coaches on the field, too. They almost looked like blockers. You could say that they raced out there because Nebraska was on the field, but they were out there.

And seriously, how do you ever get tackled or run out of bounds on a play like that? The only thing that should end a lateral play should be a touchdown or a fumble recovery by the other team. Never get tackled with the ball. Even if you have to blindly through it over your head.

And what would have happened with that officiating crew seeing that they (expletive) the bed the whole night.

I agree with Adam. Both sides had players (and coaches!) on the field. Whatever penalties would have been offsetting - end of game.

Fun to watch it happen.

The worst part

I agree with you guys. The worst part was that there was not a single flag on the field during that play. There should have been penalties for both teams for having players on the field. Ridiculous.

It would have been interesting if Michigan had scored because there were no flags. That would have topped Cal-Stanford!

Rooting for Michigan to score

At one point, you had to have been rooting for Michigan to score. But no flags? That was a fitting end for that game.
