Miami is in a state of disater now. I'm not talking about another hurricane moving through the area but it just might as well be. Something funny is going on in the city of sun and fun. It's looking more like cold and wintry Antartica down there. Here's a recap
Saturday - The Miami Huricanes, sittins in third place in the BCS and after playing their best game of the season dominating Virgina Tech, lose at home to Georgia Tech 14-10. They most likely lost their opportunity to place in the ACC championship game also, where they would have beat FSU most likely. Also the Florida Panthers lose to the N.Y. Islanders, their 11th consecutive loss.
Sunday - The Dolphins get shut out by Cleveland 22-0. Sage Rosenfels and Gus Frerotte team up for the worst quarterback duo since, well, maybe the worst ever. The Miami Heat give up 40 fourth-quarter points and lose to the Toronot Raptors.
Monday - Nick Saban reaches meltdown status saying that score and results don't matter anymore this season.
Tuesday - The Florida Marlins announce they are losing money and cannot get a baseball specific stadium in Miami. Allowed permission to move the franchise for the 2008 season. Marlins trade Josh Beckett and Mike Lowell. Carlos Delgado is traded the next day.
Wednesday - As reported by Deadspin.com, blogger Kyle Munzeinreider, has been kicked off University of Miami campus for posting on his blog a song by "The 7th Floor Crew".
