We thought we might see Peyton Manning win a Super Bowl before we saw Shaq and Kobe hug and make up.

No better day to do it than Martin Luther King Day. He had a dream forty-three years ago but we presume it wasn't for Shaq and Kobe to give man hugs to each other on this day.

But finally the long drawn out drama between these two is over. The first few times they met the tension was palpable but we got the same non-confrontational performance everytime. It got to the point where it'd be a big deal that Shaq fouled Kobe! Oh the travesty!

Now though it seems he has another one brewing with Andrew Bynum, the rookie center straight out of high school. First Shaq trucked the kid over en route to a dunk. Seconds later, at the other end, Bynum worked Shaq in the post, faked one way, then spun away and threw down a slam of his own.

Well Bynum ran down the court, full of mojo, and decided to give Shaq an elbow as he went to cover him. Shaq promptly looked at him and gave him a "Who do you think you are little boy?" fore arm shiver.

Then the strangest sight was that Kobe Bryant came over to hold Shaq back.

Younger Shaq might have turned into Black Hulk and shoved Bynum so hard to the ground that it left a crater in the floor. Now Shaq gives him a little tap. We wanted to see some Shaq-Fu! Shaq certainly tries to demonstrate he is the most dominat big man in the game but you can't let a little rookie show you up.

So unless Bynum develops into the first round potential that the Lakers expect out of him, this might be his crowning moment in his career. But these days maybe even Manute Bol could post him up and beat him with a drop step move.
