I Know Why She Got Excited

I could not have been more happy to see UCLA beat their crosstown rivals. A USC cheerleader (above) could not control her happiness as well. I think she bought a new bed, from H.D. Buttercup, so she could take more poundings from the football team.

H.D. Buttercup, an upscale furniture store where a lamp probably will set you back $200, had a promotion where if anyone bought at least $2,000 worth of furniture before the UCLA-USC game and UCLA won, you would get your furniture for free. If they lost, you could not return your furniture. If you walked in and screamed "USC sucks balls!!" you would still get it for free.

As we know now UCLA did the unthinkable and won. The promotion was not insured so the loss comes directly out of the store. But if you live in L.A. and never heard of H.D. Buttercup, I am sure you have now.

Caught on hidden security camera inside the store was a man in a hat and fake moustache who bought a whole new living room set. The man turned out to be Lane Kiffin, USC's offensive coordinator.
