Vince Young is having a heck of a pre-draft season. Not in a good way either. He is the most scrutinized player leading up to the draft. No one knows what to think about him and his throwing motion. Before his college career ended he could do nothing wrong. Now he can almost do nothing right.
First we learn he scored a 6 on the Wonderlic test, a score easily beatable by elementary school students. He's got one of the worst throwing motions since Danny Wuerffel. Remember his outstanding college career? He won the Heisman, a national championship, and ran the "Fun-and-Gun" offense at Florida. He was the king at Florida. But he threw the ball like a shot putter. He had a less than stellar career in the NFL.
Vince worked out at the University of Texas and from a distance it he looked impressive. However a closer look found some scouts were not too impressed. Here's a recap.
They're really trying to break down Vince Young. Some scouts that were talking could be setting up smoke so Vince will drop down to them. The Texans gushed about him but I don't see them taking a quarterback. I just hope they keep dissecting Vince because I want to know what else is wrong with him. The 6 on the Wonderlic was the best however.
