Fantasy Basketball - One Thing To Look Forward To For Each NBA Team

Atlanta Hawks

The entire starting 4 (minus the small forward) in Atlanta produces at an extremely high level in fantasy basketball and there's no reason to think it won't continue to do so. It will be satisfying to watch Teague, Korver, Millsap and Horford again outperforming their expectations.

Boston Celtics

Isaiah Thomas may be coming off the bench once again but don't let that fool you. He is a high usage spark plug who fills up the stat sheet. People will be concerned about his minutes but ultimately his per minute production will trump whatever limited time he gets.

Brooklyn Nets

Thad Young might not be the world's most high profile player, nor is he ever the best player on court. However, he does a little bit of everything and with minutes available at power forward in Brooklyn, he will surprise more than a few this season.

Charlotte Hornets

Life without Lance Stephenson is something to genuinely be ecstatic about if you own any Charlotte players. He was a drain on everyone's production, but also team morale. Expect a bounce back from the entire team.

Chicago Bulls

If you haven't seen the Chicago Bulls fantasy basketball schedule, you really should check it out. They are set to have 4, 5, and 5 games during head to head default playoff weeks. Even with the expected minutes reductions across the board post-Thibs, the extra games should more than compensate.

Cleveland Cavaliers

There is no question that 2014-15 was a down year for Kevin Love. He finished just 34th in 9 category leagues but was generally drafted in the top ten. With a missed finals run to stoke the fire, expect KLove to return to form.

Dallas Mavericks

The Mavericks offence loves point guards. It turns middling point guards like Monta Ellis into fantasy studs. Deron William's best years might be behind him but a big bounce back is on the cards.

Denver Nuggets

After being sidelined by injury most of the season, in his last four games of the season Danilo Gallinari went for 18,14,47,27, and 20 points. Without many other options in Denver, Gallinari should have free reign to dominate the ball and the stat sheet.

Detroit Pistons

In his first two seasons in the NBA Andre Drummond shot 62% and 63% from the field. Last year he was asked to take on a low-post scoring role he wasn't familiar with and consequently shot just 51%. It will be exhilarating to see him return to his hyper efficient pick and roll mastery.

Golden State Warriors

Steph gonna Steph.

Houston Rockets

Even while carrying the whole team on his back James Harden was amongst the most efficient offensive players in the league in 2014-15. Now that the Rockets have added an elite play maker and penetrator in Ty Lawson, Harden's turnovers should drop and the duo should both have great fantasy basketball seasons.

Indiana Pacers

It's slim pickings in Indiana at the moment. One bright light is the return of Paul George from a horrific injury which saw him mist the vast majority of the season. Even though he won't produce to previous levels immediately, he will be a welcome and solid addition to fantasy rosters.

LA Clippers

At just 26 years old, Blake Griffin has one of the most well rounded games in the NBA and he continues to steadily improve. Last season he added range to his game, shooting an almost respectable 32% from downtown. Continued improvement in efficiency will make him a pleasure to have on your team.

LA Lakers

It was a real shame to see Julius Randle's season crushed before it even began. Randle has shown a lot off promise in college so it will be great to see if that promise turns into production.

Memphis Grizzlies

Brandan Wright is just about the most efficient big man in the NBA, and that's saying something. He has shot over 60% from the field and blocked almost 1 shot a game the last 3 seasons, all while playing less than 20 minutes. In Memphis there will be room too back up both big men and extended run will result in extended stats.

Miami Heat

Wow! Did Hassan Whiteside ever come out of nowhere or what? The thing Miami fans should be really excited about is Whiteside's per 36 minute stat line. Even with a huge drain on free throw percentage, he still ranked 12th in 9 category leagues. Draft him wherever you can!

Milwaukee Bucks

Have you seen Giannis Antetokounmpo's recent game against Bosnia? If not, you really should. He's starting to look more like Dwight Howard than straw man that entered the league. This will be a big year for the greek freak.

Minnesota Timberwolves

The Wolves have somehow managed to acquire the most exciting, talented, young team in the league. Wiggins, LaVine, Rubio, Towns, and Dieng are just beginning to scratch the surface of their potential fantasy impact. Expect to see the transition from talent to value accelerate in 2015-16.

New Orleans Pelicans

At 22, Anthony Davis already has the best average production in standard leagues. It's insane to think what he will do by the time he is 35 or even 25. There's nothing not to like about AD - look out for his expansion to the 3 point line.

New York Knicks

The Knicks are just miserable but they still have their superstar Carmelo Anthony. He was bothered by knee issues all of last season which should now be sorted out. Expect a return to the top 15 in overall rank for Melo.

Oklahoma City Thunder

Kevin Durant has gone from fantasy superhero to season destroyer with the break of one tiny foot bone. Thunder management are now positive KD will be back at 100% shortly. So sit back and enjoy another stellar all around contribution.

Orlando Magic

The NBA is abuzz with Aaron Gordon's summer league performance. He was absolutely unstoppable and his versatility had people comparing him to Blake Griffin. Hopefully we are in for a spectacular second-half of the season from this kid.

Philadelphia Sixers

The twin towers of Okafor and Noel should be great to watch and unlimited minutes will bring managers some great production.

Phoenix Suns

It's impossibly to know what the plan is for the Suns team but as the talent has thinned out through trades, it has become clear that the dynamic backcourt of Bledsoe and Knight will be let loose on the court. High usage and big minutes from these two will have owners praising their own drafting skills.

Portland Trail Blazers

You may not know who Al-Farouq Aminu or Meyers Leonard are today but by the end of the fantasy basketball season you will. 7 foot 1 Meyers quietly put together a 50-40-90 season and Aminu just signed a 30 million dollar contract.

Sacramento Kings

No one really knows what will happen with the Kings because anything and everything is on the table. As a result, this one may be more wishful than likely but if all goes well, Rajon Rondo and DeMarcus Cousins could be the best 1-5 combo in the league for fantasy owners.

San Antonio Spurs

This is the year Gregg Popovich unleashes Danny Green. On just 28 minutes per game, Green was ranked 27th last season. With newfound trust from his coach, you can expect another big step forward for this former D-Leaguer.

Toronto Raptors

In a similar storyline to Danny Green, Jonas Valanciunas has been hyper efficient in limited minutes. This may be the year he finally earns the trust of his coach and plays north of 30 minutes.

Utah Jazz

In 26 minutes per game last season, Rudy Gobert blocked 2.3 shots, gathered 9.5 rebounds and shot 60% from the field. With a total lack of depth in the Utah front court, this will be a huge fantasy basketball season for young Rudy.

Washington Wizards

Is Bradley Beal unlucky or injury prone? We're betting he is just unlucky and is ready to deliver a full season of top quality fantasy production. At just 22 years of age, Beal is already one of the league's best shooters. A healthy Beal could easily break the top 50 rankings in 2015-16.
