Chad Clears the Cincinnati Air

Chad Johnson today spoke out further about the supposed locker room incident.

“He would have sat me,” said Johnson when asked what would have happened if he swung at Lewis or Jackson.

So from Chad's mouth it sounds like there were no 3rd grade style head locks or a right hook directed towards Marvin. What can't be denied is that there was probably some sort of verbal confrontation. We all would love to know the verbal exchange.

Chad has done nothing wrong since he's been with the Bengals so he is believable when he denies it. For a player who jabbers alot he stays out of trouble with the organization.

I suppose the media is making this a huge deal because Chad is a likeable player and enormously popular. To take a swing at his coach is out of the norm and very juicy gossip. But if he really did get Hue Jackson (his WR coach) in a headlock, we have to wonder if he was trying to fight UFC style.
