Cam Newton: Guilty until proven innocent or innocent until proven guilty?

by Sue

Sportscasters and writers appear to want to "hang" Cam Newton along with Auburn before all the facts are presented. Is it because Auburn is having a winning season or because Mississippi State's Coach Mullins has and ax to grind?

OR is it because all you guys that predict and write about football just can't stand the fact that Auburn's coach has pulled together a team that has a winning season?

Sue, Thank you for the comment.

Auburn fans may want to get their minds around the fact that these things are being reported because they are a major violation of NCAA rules. It has nothing to do with the things you mentioned. Remember, Dan Mullen reported this to the SEC and NCAA in January. National signing day was in February, one month later. So what ax would he have to grind BEFORE Cam signed?

As I have stated before (and probably will again) talking to an Auburn fan is a lot like listening to Lou Holtz talk about Notre Dame.
