Baseball is played with however many players are available the rules we follow in organized baseball depicts 9 players per team for the game.

The sad commentary or reality if you will is that our Grand Game of Baseball would have never achieved it mark in History if it were not for kids gathering and playing the game with whatever number they had available.

Made up rules made the game what it has become in today's Society around the World.
