A-Rod's days of playing poker in illegal poker palors are over. Don't be all sad at once. Where else is he going to hone his skills so we can see him be the Oliver Hudson of the 2006 WSOP?
It was reported before that he had been playing poker at the city's underground poker rooms. Yankee officials and MLB were afraid A-Rod was rubbing elbows with gamblers who bet on baseball. But he did provide a reason for going to the poker rooms...
Rodriguez, 30, said he visited the clubs with friends visiting from Miami because he was "trying to be a human being" and have "a little fun."
Yeah I guess it's hard to be a human being when you're making $25 million a season. Pass some my way so I can feel your pain too.
