2015 College Football Playoff and Bowl Game Predictions

By - Kory Kinslow

Just about the time of the Black Friday Sales, the college football playoff and bowl schedule will be announced. So, who will end up in those top games this year? Hard to say, but here's my early picks.  I will go through each conference, predicting who will win and who will be the runner up of that conference. This will give us an idea of who to look for in the bowl games, as well as the College Football Playoff.

ACC - I believe that with the addition of a Notre Dame transfer Quarterback with a lot of big game experience, Florida State will win the ACC followed by a surprising Virginia. Yes, I said Virginia will win their side of the ACC. I like to find an underdog and I have found one. They have a lot of experience returning and a great defense! I think the fact that Notre Dame can take the big bowl games that the ACC are up for, that they will be the ones to take the bowl game after Florida State.

Big Twelve - I'm going chalk on this one and picking TCU to win the conference with Baylor following closely behind. It could come down to how these two teams fair against the two Oklahoma teams. Don't sleep on the Sooners to steal one of these spots if either team gets too relaxed or has a fall.

Big Ten - I'm going with Ohio State to win this conference. They have talented Quarterbacks, Running Backs, and a good defense. They are built like an SEC team and I think that this is something that teams in this conference have had trouble with. I look for Wisconsin to come out of the other side, without making much noise. I think that part of the conference is much weaker. I believe that Michigan State is clearly the second best team in this Conference and would take precedence over any other team in a big bowl game.

PAC 12 - I look for USC to win this conference. I don't think that's a shock. This conference appears to be as strong as they have been in several years. I would normally go with Oregon next, but I don't like their situation at Quarterback, so I'm going with Stanford to make a comeback and end up in the championship, unless the schedule gives them trouble. I also think that Arizona and UCLA could make some noise. To be clear, I am picking USC to win and Stanford to come out of the other half.

SEC - I think every year I've done this I've picked Alabama to come out of the West and this year I am making a change. I don't think that this is their year and I'm picking LSU. I think the running back wins the Heisman and that the defense really holds up strong. I'm looking at the East and I'm seeing a surprise, I like Tennessee to win that half and play LSU closely, but eventually losing in the SEC championship. I think there are a lot of contenders out of the West that will beat up on each other and will eliminate most of them from the big time bowls.

College Football Playoff - I believe that TCU will have some convincing wins and have the most impressive record and be the number 1 seed. I believe they will play the fourth seeded USC team. I think that Ohio State will be the 2 seed and play LSU as the 3 seed. I believe that TCU and LSU play for the championship and TCU finally gets that title they've been looking for. We shall see!
