FOX Tried To Pay the Brown Family To Keep Quiet

I’ll admit it. I would have watched O.J. Simpson’s “If I Did It, Here’s How It Happened” special on FOX. I’m a sucker for over the top programming on FOX (Remember Joe Millionaire and Mr. Personality?). Though it still makes me sick that he walks around with a smile, enjoying life, and playing golf.
He had years waiting for the trial to come up with stories about how he could not have done it. Now he had almost a decade to say how he might have killed two innocent people. It’s ridiculous to even do an interview to talk about how he would have done it. It makes no sense from a perspective of repairing his image. Nothing short of him being eaten by an 8 foot alligator would make people like him. If he’s talking about it, people are going to take it as truth. As we know, he can run down the streets of L.A. screaming he did and he’d still be able to walk free. Bastard.
After the backlash and affiliates deciding not to show it, FOX has pulled it off the air. Now word is leaking that FOX, so desperate to get ratings, offered millions in hush hush money to the Brown family to keep quiet on their objections to the show and book. Of course they said “absolutely not” but maybe not so politely.
In the age of Ebay and YouTube we still may be able to see the interview and buy the book. Thousands of books had already been shipped out to sellers and warehouses. They are being recalled to be destroyed. People thinking dollar signs will keep as many copies as they can and sell them. I doubt it’ll be in the Playstation 3 range but it will be a rare collector’s item even if it is about O.J. Simpson.
With the interivew being filmed, it could be leaked onto the internet and make its way to YouTube. It’s the only appropriate place for it. I hope him being eaten by an alligator shows up one day as well.
