You won’t see too many NBA posts here this season. A good matchup once in awhile I enjoy. The playoffs are more interesting to me. I wager some money on some games. (Seriously bad for stress levels with the game changing so quickly.) However a long 82 game season drags on after awhile. Of course I will write if Kobe Bryant rapes someone else, someone is arrested (coming soon), or the defending NBA champions lose their opening game by 42 points…at home.
It was suppose to be a happy day when the Heat got their oversized NBA championship rings. Look how big that thing is. Wade is about average NBA size and the ring looks about as big as his nose. No wonder some rarely ever wear it.
The young Bulls got better in the off season while the Heat just looked like they spent the summer getting older. With the exception of Dwayne Wade, who played basketball all summer, and still showed up to score 25 points, the rest of the Heat could barely get it going. Second leader scorer Antonie Walker, just had nine measley points.
It’s a great embarassment on opening night. They’re saying it’s the worst loss for a defending champion in their opening game since 1982 when the Lakers led by Magic played about the same way. Hope for Heat fans is that the Lakers won 58 games that season and went to the NBA finals led by..you guessed it…Pat Riley.

That was a really bad opening night. Are the Bulls this good? They are good but not this good. It is really pathetic the way the Miami Heat played. But does anyone think this game means that much? When it comes to the NBA, I think we have learned that the regular season isn’t that important. It is all about the post-season and who is ready to play then.
