You Can’t Take the Ghetto Out of South Florida
I have never seen a football brawl like this. It seems only fitting that it happened to UM who brings a sort of ghetto attitude whenever they take the field (remember stomping on the Louisville logo?). To be fair FIU started this fight but it got ugly really fast.
A Miami player uses his helmet and swings like a lady hitting someone with a shoe. Another one stomps on an FIU player. Players from both benches swarm the field. Already Miami has suspended 8 players. Doesn’t that seem a little low after seeing the video? I guess they don’t want to be playing next week’s game with only walk-ons.
Listen to the announcer in the booth who wanted to take the elevator down and get in on this fight. He points out FIU deserved to get their butt kicked for messing with them. That sort of talk is way out of line in the booth. I know I’m not the only one outraged by his comments. Talking about that’s what FIU deserves and wanting to fight? This guy needs to be suspended for idiotic comments. That’s what the official press release should say.

So much for Larry Coker having control of the team.

I know of which you speak. I just moved from South Florida six months ago. Still in FL but not south with all the crazies.
