I speak for many football fans around the country when I say “give us more Monday Night Football doubleheaders!” Goodness not for Kornhesiner. We also beg please no more Raiders on national television. What a freaking joke that was. Raiders are set for a 2-14 season. I normally stay up till 2AM but at 1AM I could hardly stay awake watching that game. It was maybe the most putrid performance of the whole weekend. When Randy Moss said things were messed up within the team it clearly showed on and off the field.
On the sideline Jerry Porter was reported laughing and pumping his first when Aaron Brooks was sacked for the seventh time. (Hey I laughed after I lost track of the sack count) Today he denied it and said he “wasn’t even paying attention to the game.” Even if he denied the first, admitting to the second shows what a dumb fuck he is. He might be having problems with management but he’s still a teammate and I would assume he’s friends with most of the team. Show more like he has alientated himself from them and had a rip roaring time watching them get their ass kicked. A team with good management would have him Keyshawn-ed or Terrell-ed the very next day. With the Raiders they’ll likely keep him around to add to the circus atmosphere it will be all season long.

I agree. When you look at the Raiders this year, there’s just no value. I have never been an Aaron Brooks supporter. To me he is a very limited quarterback in both skill set and leadership. Even with some fine receivers around him, he just can’t seem to execute consistently. Add Oakland’s porous defense, and you have a team that’s going to get beat quite a bit this year. This sideline circus stuff is just the icing on the cake. I’d definitely think twice before putting my money on the Raiders this season.

I can’t blame anyone for not paying attention to that game… that had to rank up there for all-time worst NFL games I’ve seen.
