Come on, how much worse could he be than Brooks? But seriously even though he's been out of the game for a while I still think he's probably as good as most 3rd string backups in the league. Near the end of the 1999 (may have been the playoff loss to St Louis) season on the front page of the sports pages in Minnesota was a picture of a fumbled ball and (from nearest to furthest from the ball) George, 2 opposition defensive players, and a Viking lineman. The funny part: George was backpeddling away from the ball and pointing at it. "Hey, there's my fumble. Get it." That was all I could think of for a caption.
