Isiah Thomas announced last week that he’s going to be coaching the Knicks after Larry Brown’s tumultuous first season got him fired. Isiah does not have the Midas touch. More like whatever he touches turns into a Port-O-Let. A look at Isiah’s resume.

1994-1998 Part owner and executive vice president of the Toronto Raptors. Okay they’re expected to suck but while Thomas was there, the Raptors were 67-179 (.272).

2000-2003 Thomas coached the Indiana Pacers for three season. While he makes the playoffs all three season, the Pacers are ousted in the first round all three seasons. In the final season as a third seed they lost to sixth seed Boston.

2003-2006 President and GM of the Knicks. His first season they barely made the playoffs and then promptly lost 3-0 in the first round series. Since then the Knicks are a dismal 56-108 the past two seasons. This year the Knicks were the dunking booth of the NBA with a 23-59 record.

Have a great 2006-2007 season running the Knicks into the ground so deep you’ll be in China.
