Vince on Vince Coming to BET
Vince Young is the most scrutinzed player in this NFL draft. There hasn’t been much he’s done right leading up to the draft. So what better step to focus on preparing for the NFL season than to have cameras follow you around 24/7. Sure that’s a great way to really get the media out of your life.
BET is producing a Vince Young reality show that will follow him as he prepares to take his game and life to the next level. I’m going to guess it’ll show him during the draft, meeting fans of the new team, probably buying some nice stuff and mentioning over and over how people disrespected him leading up to the draft. What we won’t see is probably him reading a book, going with a left handed throwing motion, sleeping all day, or hanging out with Ricky Williams in Nepal.
This is all part of BET’s plan to be more aggressive in its programming by offereing shows besides music and honestly I don’t know what else they have. However, I’m a bit leery on some of the names of their new falls shows.
No joke. Don’t most of those shows sound like the belong on late night Cinemax on a Friday night? The DMX show alone screams the time slot at 3am after all the skin shows.
Good to know Vince’s show is in good quality programming company. Having it on BET will guarantee that less viewers watch his show than “Bonds on Bonds”.
